Job Summary |
Responsible for the commissioning, maintenance and servicing of major key client installations to include but not limited to Fire systems, CCTV systems, Access systems and Intruder systems. You will be responsible for your own engineering area and have exceptional customer facing skills at all times, must be prepared to work within and as part of a team, be able to interact with colleagues, management at all levels, clients and other trades in a professional and tactful manner, and in doing so present a positive image of the company. |

Key Tasks and Responsibilities |
- Responsible for own engineering area.
- Support customers and company operations (Sales, Admin and Operations)
- Commission, maintain and provide ongoing service to BWSstandfast Fire and Security Systems new and existing clients.
- Provide supervisory and technical support to colleagues and communicate with staff at all levels.
- Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by BWSstandfast Fire and Security Systems are understood and met.
- Ensure that follow up work requirements are referred back to the appropriate staff within the company to enable necessary action and recommendations to clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectatio0ns, and in doing so help to promote the image of the company.
- Set a good example to colleagues by observing and obeying all company rules and regulations, complying with all site regulations, and safe guarding Company property.
- Set a good example to colleagues and management by completing all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with any guidelines or schedules issued (including Time Sheets, Staff Expense Claims, site reports, etc.).
- Attend all training courses and meetings as required by BWSstandfast and oversee development of colleagues.
- Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues, and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company at all times.
- Observe and adhere to company health and safety guidelines and contribute to a health and safety working environment.

BWSstandfast would also be willing to consider exceptional applicants with less experience who have the drive and ambition to work towards a more senior role within the organisation. This applicant would begin as a Service engineer and with training and experience would aim to move into a Senior Engineer position within 2 – 3 years of working with the company. |

Installation engineer – South West |
|
BWS Standfast Fire & Security are a well-established (30 Years) NSI gold Intruder & Fire installer and are currently looking to recruit an experienced installation engineer. We install a wide range of systems including : Intruder alarms, CCTV Systems, Access control systems and Fire alarms. |

Salary £26,000 – £28,000 (package) plus overtime and allowances and good attendance bonus. |

Applicant to ideally be based in the Bristol, Bath, south West area. |
